End Bossiness Soon, Student exhibition presented by ACE CIC in partnership with MODO Gallery

Putting Creativity Back in the Hands of Young People

Art and Culture Education CIC (ACE C.I.C) and MODO Gallery in Cambridge are proud to launch 'End Bossiness Soon', an ART initiative designed for students aged 10-14 that champions creative thinking as the foundation of learning, industry, and the future.

Join us on 29th November at 11:30am for the official opening of 'End Bossiness Soon' at MODO Gallery, Cambridge! Entry is free—no need to book.

Children are invited to create postcard-sized art with NO RULES! These works will be exhibited at MODO Gallery in Cambridge on the 29th November and shared more widely as part of a campaign to highlight why art matters—not only in education, but in society and the economy.

The project confronts two challenges: children are not frequent visitors to galleries, and the arts continue to be sidelined in schools.

End Bossiness Soon demonstrates that creativity is not optional—it is the bedrock of innovation.

"This exhibition is about more than postcards. It's about showing children that their creativity has weight, that their voices are part of shaping the future of culture and education. At MODO we believe art belongs to everyone, and with ACE C.I.C we are making that belief a reality for the next generation."

-Sally Clark, Director, ACE C.I.C and MODO Gallery

'End Bossiness Soon' will run for five days at MODO, alongside the ongoing David Hockney: Normandy Landscapes exhibition. Visitors can experience both the immersive Hockney landscapes and the vibrant, postcard-sized artworks created by students aged 10-14. For full details about the exhibition, including dates and opening times, visit our listing on Visit Cambridge.
